Puppies April 2022

Yesterday, Saturday April 2nd, was a really exciting day at Facanvadasz Hungarian vizslas. The night before had been a sleepless one with Amira digging in the back garden and nesting in the whelping box. We started Saturday in the normal way taking the dogs out for a walk and upon our return feeding them. Amira did not eat her’s which was another sign that she was going to give birth imminently. The first puppy was born at 10:04 and it was a boy. The last puppy was born at 20:20 with a total of 10 puppies, 8 boys and 2 girls. We are so proud of Amira she is a fantastic mum and did it all by herself. She and the puppies are in remarkably good shape considering she was giving birth for nearly 12 hours.
