Puppies!

On Monday the 22nd of May at around 10.00hrs Bambi whelped her first puppy, which was a large boy.

After that it was plain sailing, she had a puppy every half and hour but we did have to wait an hour for the last two. Bambi is a very trusting bitch and preferred us to be there, especially in the beginning she was a little unsure what was going on.

She was all done before the children came back from school, 9 puppies in total, 6 boys and 3 girls. Bambi is an absolute star and a natural for motherhood. The puppies are very content and putting on weight and growing quickly.
